If you would like to donate to specific programs or to our general fund, or if you would like to sponsor a specific event that is run by the PTA please contact the PTA President or CLICK HERE to go to our online form. You will need to write and send a check to our offices. Under new policy we are limited in our ability to take online donations.
Fundraising
What are the best ways to effectively fund-raise?

The PTA is an organization rooted in advocacy for children. The PTA is not necessarily a fundraising organization. That said, it is very difficult to advocate for children in schools with little to no funding. We will be exploring the topic of fundraising in the 16th District blog. Gratitude
Gratitude is a necessity that is often neglected. The PTA is a volunteer run organization. No one is getting paid at district level and below. It is up to us to recognize and celebrate the people who put forth the effort for the PTA.

There are many ways to celebrate your volunteer force:
Handwritten cards
Volunteer appreciation events
Awards and Accolades

Both National PTA and CAPTA have in place the ability to give awards to your shining stars. Utilize these accolades and you may see a major difference in the amount of volunteers you get each year.
